Crazy.
Dream last night:
I was sitting at a round table with Franz Kafka (or my image of him which is basically David Bowie as Tesla in that movie “The Prestige”) and one of his random colleagues.
We were discussing Murakami’s book “The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle” while drawing circles and spirals over and over on the table with thick pencils. He had a super thick exaggerated accent and responded to basically everything I said with “But he wrote a book about me!” He was incorrectly referring to another Murakami book called “Kafka on the Shore” which has nothing to do with Franz Kafka.
I kept laughing at his accent.

One Year
Today marks one whole year since my life was completely changed in the best way possible.
Even though toughing out a long distance relationship has been a challenge, it has taught me so much and has proved far beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is the person I want to be with for as long as I continue to breathe.
I’m so deeply happy and thankful to have had this all work out the way it did. I literally cannot wait to start our future together in a small apartment in San Francisco being silly, going to concerts, cooking meals together, going on movie/dinner dates, and everything in between.
